Research : Definition of Surrealism

My Topic:

 How can we estimate Hieronymus Bosch as a surrealist painter or a holy picture painter?

What I hope to learn from this source:
 I hope to know difference between Surrealism and Hieronymus's fantasies. Before this, I need to understand the definition of Surrealism. 

Notes:

1. The word 'Surrealism' is made by poetry Apollinaire in 1917.
2. Surrealism puts emphasis on fantasies and illusions which are not dominated reason. 
3. Its root is Dadaism. Dadaism is a movement which occurred after World War 1 to destroy the original traditional order and admire irrationality and non-ethic. It makes new techniques like collage, objet and the like. 

Final Thoughts:

 Surrealism and the painter's styles have similarities. I should find definite differences between them. Or any specific method to categorize Hieronymus Bosch as a holy painter.
