How can we estimate Hieronymus Bosch as a surrealist painter or a holy picture painter?
What I hope to learn from this source:
I hope to know what the painter tried to express in the painting 'Last judgement'
Notes:
- The painting is totally similar to Bible Matthew 13 and 24-25. It contains the fact that as foxtails are burned at the harvest, the wicked are thrown on the fire while the good would shine like Sun in the world of God at the end of the world.
- It express the exact punishments written on Bible. The punishments are caused by pretending False Christ, predicting False future, disasters like war, famine, earthquakes and persecution and other disarrangement. Most Punishments comes without notice and have a big space fluctuation.
- After the punishments, the real would of Christ is achieved.
Final Thoughts:
I hope to find more information about his drawing style.
